A bold reinterpretation of a dual-time annual calendar watch, this project explores monochrome design. A deep blue DLC finish covers both case and bracelet, extending the intensity of the original dial into every surface of the piece. Uniform, immersive, and precise.
The owner of this personal timepiece envisioned a monochrome creation of quiet power. Inspired by the dial’s vibrant hue, he wanted that same energy extended across the entire watch. His brief was simple but exacting: enhance the blue, make it total, make it harmonious.
A Chromatic Statement
Every line of the watch now speaks the same language: blue. The dial’s original tone inspired a full transformation, where the case and bracelet are treated with a custom blue DLC coating. A seamless aesthetic where color becomes identity.
Craftsmanship at Every Stage
Before any surface treatment, the watch is completely disassembled in our Swiss workshops. Each component is handled with the utmost care, cleaned, inspected, and prepared for transformation. After the blue DLC treatment is applied, our master watchmakers reassemble the watch. Final adjustments and a complete quality control cycle ensure flawless performance and visual harmony.
All modifications are meticulously executed in Switzerland, upholding the highest standards of watchmaking and finishing.
