This 40 mm rose gold chronograph was reimagined through three major interventions: a skeletonized movement, a forged carbon bezel with integrated luminescence, and a smoked sapphire dial.
The Owner’s Vision
The movement required extensive restoration, giving the owner an opportunity to rethink the watch entirely. Drawn to skeletonized movements, he explored several directions with our design team before developing a project centered on transparency, carbon, and contrast.
Restoration and Preparation
The watch was fully disassembled in our Swiss workshops. Each component was inspected and restored, while the movement was serviced and returned to full function before any customization began.
Skeleton Movement
The caliber 4130 was skeletonized based on an architecture developed in house. The bridges were reworked to reveal the gear train, with selected components finished in matte black DLC. The smoked sapphire dial and display caseback reveal the movement from both sides.
Forged Carbon Bezel
A new bezel was manufactured in forged carbon with luminescent material integrated directly into the composite. In daylight, its surface appears deep black and marbled. In low light, the material reveals a subtle glow throughout its natural pattern.
