Originally defined by its clean geometry and integrated bracelet, this iconic watch is reinterpreted through 44 pink baguette sapphires and a custom pink dial. The result is a monochromatic composition that brings color to the design while preserving its original balance.
The Owner’s Vision
Having owned this watch for many years, the owner wanted the refinement of a gemstone-set version without parting with his own piece. We developed a monochromatic composition centered on the pink tones he had envisioned, combining baguette sapphires with a matching custom dial.
Invisible Baguette Setting
The project features 44 pink baguette sapphires totaling 3.52 carats, including 32 on the bezel and 12 on custom made indexes. Each sapphire was individually calibrated to achieve the precise alignment required for invisible setting, allowing the stones to form a continuous surface without visible prongs. The stones were sourced through a traceable supply chain in Madagascar and selected for their consistent color.
Custom Components
New components were manufactured to enable the gemstone setting. The new bezel accommodates the invisible setting, while the new dial was designed to receive sapphire set indexes. The original components were preserved and returned to the owner, allowing the watch to be restored to its original configuration if desired.
